Well, we still have snow on the ground four days later, but it is melting. All in all, we got 12-1/2 inches of snowfall in the 24 hour period, a record for the DFW area for any one day. Megan spent one whole day playing in the snow that was falling and falling and falling (about 20 straight hours of snow, at least 6 hours of snow time play!) Then she spent the next day playing in the chilly stuff. Her friends came out to play, and we got several snapshots (and no snowballs hit the camera!)
Each snow romp was followed by some time by the fireplace, marshmallows, hot chocolate. All the good stuff. She should have some good winter memories from this weekend. At the end of the day, she and Daddy moved their usual story time from her room to the living room so that they could read by the fire.
