Megan Lauralee Homan was born at 4:57 AM on Friday November 25, 2005 and weighed in at 6 lb. 7 oz. She was 18" long. Not a bad size for a baby almost four weeks early!She is named after her mother's maternal grandmother (Laura) and her father's paternal grandmother (Evalee)
She decided to begin her "meet and greet" journey after Thanksgiving dinner that Thursday night. Her mother, however, was lucky enough that the whole process took only about 5 hours (and that it began with a full stomach!) Unfortunately, those hours were from midnight to 5AM, so her parents (and her father especially) were quite exhausted on Megan's first day in the world.
